Saint George Signet Ring

The sides of the ring are inscribed with the prayer "Oracao: Ó São Jorge, meu guerreiro, invencível na Fé em Deus, que trazeis em vosso rosto a esperança e confiança", roughly translating to:
Prayer: O Saint George, my warrior, invincible in the Faith in God, who bear in your face hope and trust".
Background
Saint George was born in Cappadocia, Turkey, around 270AD in the third century AD. He later moved to Syria, where he became a soldier in the Roman army.
In 303 AD, Emperor Diocletian issued an edict that ordered the persecution of Christians. Saint George bravely spoke out against this edict, and as a result, he was tortured and imprisoned. He was eventually martyred for his faith in 304 AD.
Today, Saint George is venerated as a courageous martyr who stood up for his beliefs. He is also considered a patron saint of farmers, soldiers, and knights.
