Background

But the jester had a hidden agenda. He was determined to overthrow the dark lord and take his place. He bided his time, waiting for the right moment to strike.
One day, when the dark lord was away, the jester took advantage of his opportunity. He cast a spell on the guards that would put them to sleep, then he stole into the throne room and seized control of the castle.
The jester now ruled supreme over all of darkness.
